Реально ли включить 3D при помощи данного драйвера на Radeon-е 1150? Очень хочется КДЕ-шного композита, но в чистом софтваре сильно тормозит однако.

Вычитал еще вот такую интересную штуку про этот драйвер:

ati (radeon):
all Radeon card should be supported
fast 2D with Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" in xorg.conf (require DRM module)
3D support
basic scalers (for full screen games in not native resolution) support
Textured video Xv support
DynamicClocks (but not Powerplay) (power saving) support
radeonhd:
all Radeon card from Radeon X1xxx (R500) and later should be supported
fast 2D with Option "AccelMethod" "ShadowFB" in xorg.conf (XAA and EXA are slower; DRM module not required)
Experimental, disabled by default 3D support
configurable scalers (for full screen games in not native resolution) support
Xv not yet supported
power savings not yet supported
В связи с чем возникает вопрос — как правильно прописать xorg.conf чтоб все эти вкусности заработали.

Почитай man radeonhd.
Не знаю только поможет это или нет. В мануале написано:
radeonhd is an Xorg driver for AMD GPG (ATI) R5xx/R6xx based video cards. RADEONHD is still very much work in progress. At the time of this writing, radeonhd has the following major limitations: · NO support for 2D & 3D acceleration, no support for Xvideo. · No TV, Component, and HDMI connector support so far. · Suspend & Resume is pretty much untested. Often it just works, but your milage may vary. · After using the fglrx driver, the display can get very jittery with radeonhd. Also suspend & resume will probably fail. A reboot fixes this problem in most cases, sometimes a powercycle is necessary. Unloading the kernel module is typically not enough. A more up-to-date list can be found on the wiki page.
